Some of the fun things we do at Le Grá
At Le Grá we have a mission – people of all ages come and they have a great time! Our fun things aim to do just that. We have some really fun music afternoons, we do outdoor movies and family focused community events. The perfectly formed ‘Green space’ surrounded by vines is the perfect spot for the fun to happen – with the retro caravan bar serving fabulous wines (and more for the non-wine drinkers), the kitchen dishing out tasty treats and that Wairarapa sunshine doing its thing – it’s just right.
What we’ve done over the years
There’s something for everyone
- Spring Fling – October. Welcome in Spring and join some of northern Wairarapa’s wonderful producers at a fun family-friendly event at Le Grá. Meet your local producers of wines, meats, flowers, specialty cakes, veges and micro greens, coffee, olive oil and more. Enjoy an opportunity to sample their wares and celebrate all things wonderful in northern Wairarapa.
- Folk in the Vines – November. The first of our summer series with an afternoon of music from at least three talented acts with dancing, laughter and great food and wine.
- Cellar Door Cinema – Three movies over three nights in December. We usually have an oldie, a new release and a kiddies movies, just in time for the school holidays.
- Last of the summer wine – April. Our last hurrah before winter sets in with Mike and his sidekick from Auckland. The lads play the spoons, tambourine, harmonica and more as we dance the afternoon away.
